3. Legal basis and purpose of data processing

3.1 Data are processed on the following legal basis:

  • Article 6 (1), GDPR

3.2. Data are collected for the following purposes

  • Exercise of the landlord’s/property owner’s rights
  • Protection of property
  • Prevention and investigation of criminal offences (in particular  theft and vandalism)

In the form of video recordings.

5. Recipients or categories of recipients

We process your data in compliance with legal provisions and only for our own purposes. Your data will not be transferred to so-called third parties, unless required for compliance with a legal obligation , or in the event that you have consented to such transfer. In the event that an engagement of service providers should be necessary, such engagement will be in compliance with applicable data protection regulations.

6. Transfer to third countries

A transfer of data to third countries is not planned.

7. Storage period/normal deletion periods

The data will be stored for the period required to meet the purposes of storage, i.e. for a maximum of 72 hours.

This normal storage period will only be extended in the event that the material will be used as evidence in the investigation of a criminal offence.

8. Data source

Video cameras (outdoor areas on the company’s premises, gate/barrier systems). Note: recordings will be made exclusively in the form of images. There will be no sound recordings.

9. Automated decision making

There will be no profiling. (Art. 22 GDPR)

10. Rights of data subjects (rights to information, revocation and deletion)

According to the EU GDPR, you are entitled to the following rights:

If your personal data are processed, you have the right to obtain information about your personal data stored (Art. 15 GDPR).

In the event that incorrect personal data should be processed, you have a right to correction (Art. 16 GDPR).

Provided the respective legal prerequisites exist, you may demand the deletion or restriction of processing and object to the processing (Art. 17, 18 and 21 GDPR).

In the event that you have consented to data processing or an agreement for data processing exists and the data processing is performed using automated processes, you may have a right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).

In the event that you should wish to exercise your aforementioned rights, WSM Walter Solbach Metallbau GmbH, will ascertain if the legal prerequisites to do so are fulfilled.

Right to revoke consent
In the event that you have consented to data processing by WSM Walter Solbach Metallbau GmbH by means of a respective statement, you may revoke your consent at any time for the future. The legitimacy of the data processing performed based on your consent up until its revocation will not be affected such revocation.
